In addition, he has been appointed as Visiting Professor by various universities in the UK. Currently Professor Stephen Carter, incorporating his experience as a UN Project Director and Consultant and other practical experience, has been actively involved in developing and publishing numerous academic articles and Continuing Professional Devlopment activities since , including writing and delivering Marketing e-learning materials in print, television and video formats and materials on teaching, learning and assessments.

He has also led many projects related to the agricultural value chain, productivity, climate change, and entrepreneurial development. He looks forward to working with PhD candidates and doing research collaborations in those fields.
