Vietnam offers a land of opportunity, flights are getting cheaper to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh and cheap public transport make it easy to Travel the full length of the country. Try starting in Ho Chi Minh and going up the coast to Hanoi, don't miss hoi an an halong bay!
Add in a border hop to Cambodia or Laos without stretching the budget. Stay a little closer to home and head to St Jean Pied du Port in southern France to begin an epic mile walk to Santiago. Follow the camino de Santiago taking in the wonders of northern Spain. Budget airlines make flying to and from Spain cheap and easy and expenses can be saved by walking and staying in albergues which are aplenty.
If you have the time or energy continue on to Portugal or finisterre. Working holidays in Australia or New Zealand are great ways of saving money too without cutting back on the travel!
