The rapper has come out swinging against federal authorities, accusing them of attempting to take him down using an old and "racist" law. According to TMZ , Diddy's attorneys were in court on Tuesday, where they filed documents seeking to dismiss count 3 of his charges, which accuses him of "transportation to engage in prostitution," also known as the Mann Act.
The news outlet reports that Diddy believes it was the same ploy the government used to nail rock 'n roll legend Chuck Berry and boxer Jack Johnson. The rapper also pointed out that it was not a coincidence that they were both successful black men, just like him. He wrote: "No other person, and certainly no white person, has ever been prosecuted under the White-Slave Traffic Act for hiring male escorts from another State.
Diddy's attorneys have maintained that he's innocent of the charges, and their latest move suggests he's accusing the government of only charging him because he's black. The U. Attorney's office slapped the third count on him for allegedly hiring male sex workers to attend his sex parties, also known as "freak offs.
