The proceedings consist of 20 high-quality research and experience papers that have not been published previously. All this has inspired and influenced the scientific program of the conference that is concerned with the international developments and applications in the following directions: i Radio-Communications and Signal Processing ii Electronics and Photonics iii Electromagnetic Environment and Interference iv Solar Power Satellite Systems v Remote Sensing vi Electromagnetic Fields and Waves vii Context Awareness As seen from the above areas, the first four ones are mainly concerned with Telecommunications, while the others are mainly concerned with Remote Sensing and Context Awareness.
It is seen as well that since the start in well until now, we have been successful in establishing a small but focused Community of experienced academicians and practitioners who are inspiring the ICTRS developments. Considering two types of submissions, namely invited submissions and regular submissions, we have selected, based on a review process driven by rigorous quality standards, 20 papers.
The results of the current event and the previous one are comparable - this indicates for stable development which we aim at sustaining and reinforcing in the future. Finally, an outstanding researcher from BGU, Israel, Dan Censor will lead a discussion session that focuses on different aspects that concern Relativity Theory.
These high points in the conference program would contribute to positioning ICTRS as a high quality event driven by a stable and motivated community. Building an interesting and successful program for the conference required the dedicated efforts of many people.
