A midwestern girl who fell in love with the romance of the desert, I love ice cream, cooking for my friends, and loving people well. February 20, Michael and Katie met their freshman year of college at Arizona State University. Throughout college, it seemed they just never got the timing quite right, and by the time they were both single, Michael had moved to Colorado for work.
Luckily, he moved back a few years later, they ran into each other while out with friends, and the rest is history! We drove all around downtown for their engagement photos in Tucson to find some iconic wall murals for the first part of their fun and flirty sweetheart session. I have never photographed any of these murals before so it was extra special to do some location scouting for wall art that was big and bold but also cute and classic in Tucson!
Then we headed out to the desert for those gorgeous mountain views with an abundance of saguaro cactus for a backdrop. Their connection with each other was magnetic, joyful, and full of laughter!
And I really enjoyed our conversation about favorite places in Tucson and love recommending restaurants to other foodies. Your downtown Phoenix wedding at The Croft is going to be so much fun!!! I want to come to Tucson and see those murals in person. I saw some in New Orleans years ago. VERY nice! I like all the pics of this happy couple along with those murals and the cactus t;hat I always enjoy!
