Three army supply trucks pass through a French village. There is a large house in the background. To the left, a group of people are sitting in front of houses and there are some children playing.
They watch the trucks as they drive past. In this work U. Captain J. Damaged buildings are shown atop of a hill along with other structures and figures which are likely soldiers walking along the Aire River. The soldier has his rifle drawn and is moving through dense trees. There are other soldiers behind him in the distance, all surrounded by trees. On the reverse of the drawing is a rough sketch of a similar scene.
Three soldiers are on a camp wagon at right which is led by a team of horses. Another soldier at left is on horseback in front of the wagon. The soldiers all have their faces turned away from the viewer as they look to the background left of the sketch, where the artillary are exploding in the sky.
A camouflaged light tank is visible at right. At left, a line of soldiers in olive drab uniforms stand talking to each other or sit and rest.
