Before you read bout my experience with my daughter at Chateau Fengari — read this!! And when I say amazing I mean a night and a private photo shoot in a beautiful chateau!
So this is serious!! We had the most amazing afternoon at the chateau, dressing up in fancy dresses and taking photos at the mysterious chateau and its beautiful garden they even have a private lake. Chateau Fengari, built in as a Cognac producing chateau and now rejuvenated as a beautiful sanctuary, hosts groups of all sizes for retreats, weddings and events.
It also opens its doors every year for those wishing to experience a little taste of chateau life for themselves. The chateau is very impressive, with original furniture and paintings revealing facets of its past. If the weather is good you can spend time in the beautiful garden gazing at horses running in the background.

Our private photoshoot was done by Bruce Smith, a professional fashion and portrait photographer that happens to live in Chateau Fengari. Bruce has been working in the fashion industry for almost 40 years and you can see some of his stunning works on his site and in the bottom of this post.
Although he has spent most of his career working with professional models you can see that real people are his favourite subjects. What amazed me the most was the patience he had photographing my daughter. The whole afternoon there was a blast!
