The temps this morning are once again way above average, even better than where we were yesterday! Our stretch of warmer than normal weather continues.
After this morning round of showers in association with a warm front, isolated showers are possible through the afternoon hours as a cold front pushes through the state. Temps will reach the upper 40s to near We could certainly use any precipitation we can get given moderate to severe drought conditions that persist across CT. This incoming round could produce a tenth to a quarter inch for most of the state. In the wake of the cold front, we end the work week and month brighter, but relatively slightly cooler and breezy.
Saturday, a clipper passes through New England. Where it tracks will dictate our chances for precip. For now, they appear isolated in nature and in the form of rain with highs in the 50s. Behind the clipper for Sunday, anticipate dry and brighter weather. However, it will be noticeably colder and breezy: highs in the 30s will feel chillier with the wind. Monday feature ample sunshine, also a calmer wind as high pressure builds over the region.
Tuesday, we trend milder with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Temperatures Wednesday could go well into the 50s, perhaps close to Cloud cover increases, with a rising chance for rain later in the day.
