Program participants are assisted in their efforts to gain the skills needed to make choices that reflect their own values, preferences, and goals; supports are developed to meet each person's needs and to empower each individual to attain their highest level of independence possible. YTP is an innovative, trauma-informed residential treatment program serving youth from San Luis Obispo County who need therapeutic structure and support to learn the social, emotional, and cognitive skills to thrive in their relationships with adults and in this community.
A less-intensive program than the ACT model above, Santa Maria Supportive Community Services supports adults and older adults with severe and persistent mental illness to recover, and live independently. The Brief Therapy Clinic provides free sessions for those who are underserved and unable to find treatment anywhere else. Sessions are free, and either in person or held over zoom by MFT trainees.
