Rafal's background is analytical and biological chemistry. She joined Scientific Reports in January Her interests lie in nanoparticle design and applications. Sweta joined Scientific Reports editorial team in and is based in the Pune office. Her interests lie in materials for energy applications and deep earth geochemistry.
Over her eleven years in research, she worked on understanding telomere biology and has experience in cell, molecular and developmental biology. His interests include palaeontology, functional morphology, biomechanics, phylogenetics, ecology and biodiversity.
Thomas studied Biochemistry and completed his PhD in Germany. During this time, he worked with Xenopus laevis frogs to understand the regulation of the cell cycle. This experience made him fall in love with microscopy and he subsequently decided to work on centrosome biology in human cells, focusing on protein interactions and ubiquitylation.
