After you choose a shared car, it will be reserved free of charge for 15 minutes. When you get to the vehicle, unlock it in the app with one click and drive away. Please note, that you need to be over 21 years old and have a valid driving license. All car sharing services are available and bookable via the SIXT app. Please note that different rates, conditions apply for car sharing with third-party mobility providers.
On the map in the SIXT app, you can easily find the nearest vehicles in your area, whether it's a car sharing car, e-moped or e-scooter. Reserve your vehicle with just one click, and it will be saved for you for 15 minutes free of charge.
SIXT share offers customized mobility. You decide if you need a car for 5 minutes or up to 7 days, and whether you use the minute rate or book one of the attractive hourly, daily or kilometer packages.
The current price is displayed in the app at the time of reservation. If you make a stopover during your rental, a parking fee per minute is due. Park the car either in the business area or at any SIXT station in Germany a fee is charged when returning the car to SIXT stations and easily end the rental in the app. That's it! Rent spontaneously and flexibly at any time on any corner. With free-floating car sharing, cars are available everywhere within our business area and parked on the street like private cars.
