There is a mix of full hookups only 7 sites and partial hookups arranged in a large grassy area in a somewhat dispersed-type arrangement with trees and shade. Where the sites vary is in size and levelness. Some sites are HUGE e. The best part of the campground is location. We enjoyed the quiet at camp, loved walking the little trail around the point with Polly and most definitely enjoyed the location.
On site dump station. Cross Hammond street bridge to Wisconsin. On right is Hammond steak house. A gem with great seafood too. Priced ridiculously low. A local secret. Another information packed review. Last year we did the great lake tour route and I wish we had your CG reviews, it was really hit and miss. Sounds like a pretty decent campground with the prices about what we would pay here in Ontario without our memberships.
Mackinac island is very nice if you get the chance. I was a bit surprised by the price when we first got here seemed high, especially for a city-run campground , but like you said it seems to be pretty typical for the area.

Where they vary is size and levelness: FHU Sites : There are only 7 full hookup sites and they are located in a row right by the main entrance.
