According to NEWS4JAX , the man's arrest back in November was just one of a dozen made during a joint operation in Southeast Georgia involving federal, state and local law enforcement targeting human trafficking.
In a second case as part of the same operation, a woman told police she crossed into the country illegally and was trying to get from Texas to Florida to be reunited with her husband. However, investigators believe the driver was attempting to take the woman to Atlanta to force her into becoming a sex worker.
