What does the Bible say about? Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single, as I am. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,. But when he lies down, observe the place where he lies.
Then go and uncover his feet and lie down, and he will tell you what to do. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? You are not your own, But should write to them to abstain from the things polluted by idols, and from sexual immorality, and from what has been strangled, and from blood.
If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell. My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin.
