Application processes for obtaining overseas criminality information to provide to employers in the United Kingdom or to meet the requirements of the United Kingdom Immigration Rules to provide an overseas criminal record certificate in support of a visa application.
For further information on criminal records processes overseas, contact the relevant embassy or high commission. The Embassy of Afghanistan in London carries out criminal record checks for people who have worked or resided in Afghanistan and provides a letter confirming the results. The ministry then forwards the details on to the relevant authorities to carry out the checks. When the ministry receives the results of the checks, they forward the results to the representation in London and the applicant is issued with a letter confirming the results of the checks.
Completed forms must be submitted to any branch of the Albanian Post Office, either in person or by post. It is recommended that the evidence above is sent by courier and a return package be prepared to have the criminal record returned.
