First, I saw that BCG has a really close relationship with leaders from around the world. Second, I found that at BCG, you are always surrounded by talented colleagues. From day one, I was actively involved in meaningful work, including presenting directly to clients and fully owning a critical Excel model.
The program also provided an incredible opportunity to connect with a network of talented women, many of whom I am thankful to call friends today. Once I started full-time, I was really able to hit the ground running. I think what was also valuable was getting exposed to mentors who were doing things that I could see myself doing, who were able to offer helpful advice, and who were able to help put me on the right path to success at BCG.
