Thread Tools. Mar 14th, , AM. My wife and I have been to France five or six times, and rented a car to do our traveling. We try to avoid the larger cities to avoid traffic and wasting time. How difficult is driving around Aix?

Since you sound so unsure about driving even after five or six trips as though driving in France were totally different from driving in your own country , I think you should refrain from driving at all.

Find More Posts by sharona. Likes: Quit making fun of the guyhe just wants some advice! Aix is not that hard. The first time in Southern France we also bypassed it because we couldn't park easily. On later trips we found parking just by driving around and someone left. There are also some undergound parking structures. Coeurs Miribeau sp didn't do much for us, but the quaint pedestrian streets were worth our time. Very nice restaurants and shops. IMO, go for it! It isn't as difficult as you think.
