Botulinum toxin We use Botulinum toxin to treat facial wrinkles. After injection with a thin needle into a muscle, Botulinum toxin works by causing the muscle to relax and smoothing the skin attached to it. The result is much younger looking skin.
Hyaluronic acid Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide produced by the body, and a natural component of our skin. It binds water to the skin, thus increasing volume and firmness. We have had excellent results with sterile, non animal-based hyaluronic acid, which causes little or no allergic reactions.
This treatment is especially suited to filling deep, persistent wrinkles and scars. The wrinkles are smoothed as a result, restoring the skin volume lost during aging. Hyaluronic acid is also used to treat contour defects and as a lip filler.
