Good to see Tim and Anita Dymond who are members of The Real Partnership, sadly their horse English Willow did not enjoy the really tacky holding ground and pulled up early in the home straight. I want to reminisce about a visit to your stables a few years ago, for one of your legendary "breakfast tours". I booked this tour as a present for my wife - over the previous couple of years we had built up an interest in racing, largely driven by loving the hospitality days out at a few racecourses!!
We recall our trip to Thorndale with great affection. We were not really sure what to expect, but it was absolutely fantastic to learn that it would actually be yourself and Mat that would be hosting the visiting group. Imagine visiting Manchester City for a behind the scenes tour and being hosted by Pep Guardiola himself - it just wouldn't happen, so for you personally to take the time to show us round was amazing.
We spent some time seeing horses being schooled over hurdles, walked up to the gallops, and then met the equine stars in the yard - it was fantastic to see these beautiful animals up close. And then, of course, there was Mrs B's legendary breakfast and more chat! We recall how kind you were to answer all of the group's questions, most of which I'm sure you'd heard many times before!
