Looking at the maps we assume its Lyon, Dijon, Reims Calais. Does anyone have any recommendations where to overnight?

Not always necessary to run a fridge overnight, especially at this time of year. Just keep picnic ice blocks or ice cubes in the freezer and when you have to turn off your engine turn the fridge off, move the ice into the fridge, close the door and leave it closed until you have power the next day.
