Our Avondale gym offers a clean, spacious environment to exercise and socialise with a range of cardio and resistance equipment such as treadmills and cable machines. Spend six-weeks with our expert coaches and learn everything you need to lift weights safely, efficiently and with confidence, alongside other likeminded women.
Some classes are more intense than others, but each class can be modified for all abilities with adaptations for exercises given where needed. All classes can be booked up to seven days in advance and we highly recommend doing so where possible to avoid disappointment. Members can book via the Life Leisure app or website. Life Leisure Avondale features a 25m indoor swimming pool which is perfect for exercising or winding down after a workout in the gym or in one of our studio classes.
Whether you want to focus on your lengths in a lane swimming session or spend quality time with your little ones in a family session, Avondale host a variety of sessions to suit your needs. Baby Splash sessions are also available for children aged years. We are proud to offer swimming lessons at Life Leisure Avondale.
The swimming scheme provides our younger generation with the skills and confidence they need when it comes to feeling comfortable in the water. Beginner or pro we have you covered, with four courts available in our sports hall for activities such as badminton, table tennis and more. Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, over a net.
Suitable for adults and juniors, so perfect for some family fun. Life Leisure Kids classes cater for children aged 5โ12 years old and with our specially designed reward scheme encouraging children to make sessions part of their weekly routine. Carers and support workers can access the facility free of charge to accompany an individual to the gym or pool at Life Leisure Avondale. Please note, a leisure key companion card is required to set up a casual companion account with a member of our reception team to enable access.
