Need help finding wildlife rehab for orphan squirrel spokane washington. Found a squirrel in the neighbors yard at base of a pine tree. Tail not fully bushy, eyes closed. Left him near base of tree last night because I didn't think of searching for this forum.
Forgot to turn off sprinklers and he got soaked in the am. Brought him in and dried and warmed him. Put him in a box on a heatpad tacked to the tree. Played sounds of squirrel calling mom that I got off this forum.
He hasn't been picked up and tonight I brought him in on the heat pad. I feel like he doesn't have much longer if I can't get help. Any tips to keep him alive through the night, or should i just let him pass naturally? Re: Need help finding wildlife rehab for orphan squirrel spokane washington. You can make an emergency rehydration for him, as he is likely dehydrated. One of the experts can help. They are tough little buggers, and even after this much time he's not beyond saving. Please give him a chance.
