I currently attend Ualbany. This is really a big party school. My suitemates go to party every night, and bring girls to the dorm. I want to transfer to another SUNY school. Is it true? No, Stony Brook, Buffalo and Binghamton are not party schools.
SUNY Geneso is another good option not a party school. If you have the funds, maybe applying OOS would make sense. They increased enrollment and did not have the resources to handle the increase. They did not hire staff to meet needs. They were not including all of the test scores in their published materials so it looked like they had a stronger student body then other SUNYs but that did not include scores submitted by loads of students-talk about deception.
But Binghamton was well known for deception. Classroom were busting at the seams. Maybe it has improved, I started a thread asking current students if things are better.
