For 16 years we have lived in Bures, a charming little village located in a green and peaceful countryside. Our three sons grew up here, and as a result we have a lot of friends among our neighbours. We really like to share the social life of our village, especially by taking part in local events throughout the year. Our home, quite spacious and modern one, is surrounded by a charming ornamental garden filled in summer with floral scents of roses, jasmine, honeysuckle, lavender and Mexican orange trees.
In this garden there is also a tiny vegetable patch where Gilles, my husband, grows all kinds of aromatic plants, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, raspberries, etc. The house is composed of a ground floor and a second floor. On the ground floor are the main living rooms and the accommodation of our guests, all rooms overlooking a large terrace, which is a very pleasant place in summer. Upstairs are our own rooms and bathroom. Your room is very cosy and comfortable.
The bathroom with a spacious Italian shower and toilets is adjacent to the bedroom. Your accommodation is quite bright with a French window opening on to the terrace and the garden.
