In the Appliance Store category. Visit this website. Most recent. Bought a montpellier electric hob. It stopped working after 4 months. It was looked at by engineer and was advised that they will replace the part. Now it has been around 6 weeks and I tried to chase it up with their customer care team and no joy.
All the time, they tell me that they are awaiting for part. I can't believe where from the world it takes more than 6 weeks for a little part to come. This is just a mere electric hob, I wonder if they don't have parts for that in UK for real. Excellent customer service, within 48hours of first contact my spare item had arrived. Date of experience: February 25, One defective pile of rubbish hob with a side order of even worse customer service!!!! Looks good, seems to be an adequate design at a reasonable price PLUS it comes with a 2 year warranty, what could go wrong Wish I had looked at the reviews for Montpellier before I bought their hob!
Fill the forms in, contact them send photos, copy of invoice, model number, serial number had to pull the oven out Wait for over a month while trying to get a response and a service call out. Engineer comes out 2 months after the fault logged and says yep that's faulty I'll have to order some new parts! It's now been 2 months, it's not an uncommon or difficult issue, can only be a limited amount of parts.
