From vocal to chamber to orchestral, all beautifully performed and assembled. I'm not always in the mood for it, but am often enough that it never leaves my changer. This proved to be an overall rather dull group of examples BUT this is my opinion and certainly each listener will reflect their reactions based on their individual likes and dislikes.
The string quartet would have been more 'into it' interpretively speaking if the clarinetist had been more aware that the music of Brahms has much Passion, Excitement ,German mysticism within it. The strings made a noble attempt but David Shifrin never succumbed to their vim, vitality and rich sounding tones.
The other selection I enjoyed very much was Beethoven's Quintet for Piano and Winds in E flat major; very well played by all involved. But it's still worth purchasing for the reasons I mentioned.
