They offer simple, family-style cooking, with classics such as devilled eggs and veggie or meat stews, sometimes with a twist, and always served on pretty, vintage plates.

Ichi Zen is the sister restaurant of Ichi-go Ichi-e, and with additional choices, it makes a great alternative, particularly in the evenings. The lunchtime menu is all about donburi, a classic Japanese dish consisting of a bowl of rice topped with an array of different ingredients fish, vegetables or meat. From the open kitchen, Franco-American chef Adrien Queeny offers cuisine made with fresh produce and inspired by Creole, Asian and Latin influences.
