In true Janice fashion, she planned and organized the celebration from the grandkids and friends participating in the service down to the scriptures and music.
Janice will be laid to rest in the Andice cemetery. She spent most of her life growing up on a farm near Andice. A skilled actress with a beautiful voice, Janice won best actress in the state of Texas UIL competition in She dreamed of becoming an actress but children began arriving.
She was a wonderful mother who instilled in her four children the importance of honor, religion, compassion, work ethic and achieving a higher education. All of her four children achieved college and graduate degrees. Her family was her pride and joy. Janice also had a profound impact on the lives of many others, including many friends of her children who considered her their "second" mom.
She attended college at the "young" age of 48 and received her college degree cum laude in political science at the age of Janice left the following message: "For the many faithful, compassionate and loving friends, please accept my heartfelt and deepest gratitude.
