The Fury is described as super clean and in excellent condition, with the seller going so far as to say that the car looks like new. However, the fit and finish seem very good, so if any bodywork was performed, it appears to have been done to a high-quality standard.
The interior is said to be newly redone, with fresh-looking seat upholstery, new carpeting, a new headliner, and even a new steering wheel. Everything is stated as in working order, including the siren, intercom, gauges, and police lights, which have new LED bulbs installed. The sheriff shirt in the back seat and the round hat on the package tray are also fun touches.
However, the seller says it runs so well that the Fury can be driven cross country, or be idled for hours in a parade , thanks to a rebuilt radiator and healthy cooling system. How much would you be willing to spend here? I still want to know what color interior — red, blue, tan and gray were all on offer in all-vinyl or striped cloth. The car looks like its in terrific shape, both inside and out. Under the hood is clean too. Coltrane pulling up in this now…… Its hard to believe James Best is gone almost 10 years now.

The taillights and the headlights were changed from all red taillights like you see here to red and orange for both the Dodge Monaco and Plymouth Fury, for model year.
