I'm super excited to partner with the legends at Aquatech to host an incredible experience for 12 people on the beautiful South Coast of NSW. As you all know, the recent bushfires have absolutely devastated communities and families all over the east coast, the south coast of NSW in particular, local businesses have suffered the the most financially stressful season in history with all the holiday makers leaving, being evacuated or not coming south at all due to the road closures and relentless bushfires in the area.
So now that the fires are gone, both myself and Aquatech are donating our time and resources to host a weekend away in beautiful Narooma, NSW to assist in restoring tourism and hope back into communities. Join myself and the Aquatech team to experience 2 days of snorkelling and diving with seals out at beautiful Montague Island with Underwater Safaris, I'll be briefing everyone before the dive and teaching processing sessions after the dive to help each participant to get the most out of their photography.
I am not getting paid for this event, and Aquatech are kindly fronting the overheads so every cent goes back into local businesses in the area. We want to do what we can to encourage tourism and business back to the South Coast after such a devastating run of events. The logistics: The weekend getaway will consist of 2 x guided snorkel tours to Montague Island with Underwater Safaris where we will snorkel with and photograph the friendly local fur seals, a sunrise landscape photography workshop, as well as an image review and editing tips session where l will be sharing tips and experiences.
Staff from AquaTech will also be on hand and will provide the latest underwater housing equipment from AquaTech to help you capture stunning images in the water. We suggest stopping at Craft surf for an AllPress coffee on the way down, I don't drink coffee but heard it's the best in town!
All proceeds from ticket sales will be going directly to supporting local businesses on the South Coast. AquaTech staff and I are donating our own time, and AquaTech will also be covering the costs for staff accommodation as well as food and drink on the Saturday afternoon edit session so you know all your money is going directly to local businesses.
