These modalities allow me to perform what I call "People Art" β work that provides beautiful results when the lymphatic, visceral organs, and cranial fluids flow better for my clients. My lymphedema treatments in particular reduce edema β the clinical term for an abnormal accumulation of fluids that generally results in swelling β in any part of the body.
These treatments result in improved energy, sleep, decreased pain, and the release of emotions. I run my own small business, Healing Arts, and my passion is learning new ways to help people feel better and live happier lives. I began my career as an Occupational Therapist working in Psychiatry and Physical medicine. I perform therapy by guiding my clients through expressive art encounters and creative endeavors using clay, art media, wood, tile, leather, and weaving for healing and rehabilitation purposes.
The care for my clients and drive for continual improvement of their care was recognized when I was appointed Director of Rehabilitation at a physical rehabilitation hospital. As the Director of Rehabilitation I developed inpatient and outpatient programs and teams for 6 years.
CranioSacral Therapy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage delivered amazing results for clients with neurological and chronic pain problems.
I implemented a Lymphedema treatment program and have been treating clients with Lymphedema since Background I began my career as an Occupational Therapist working in Psychiatry and Physical medicine.
