From the cozy charm of Portsmouth to the stunning views at Pirates Cove and the chill vibes of Jenness Beach, their shoot was a perfect blend of fun and romance. They reached out to me to document this exciting time before they moved.
Although Kate and Bennett were a bit reserved at first, they truly came out of their shells, and their beach engagement pictures reflect their genuine selves which is always my 1 priority. We began our adventure in downtown Portsmouth , where I call home. The historic streets of Portsmouth set the scene for a cozy and intimate start to their engagement session. One of my favorite things to do during these shoots is to hop around to different locations and make the experience as fun as possible.
Sometimes, we stop by Kooks Beach Bar for a cocktail, which not only helps the couple relax but also gives us a chance to get to know each other better. Afterward, we head over to the nearby beach for more photo opportunities. From Portsmouth, we headed to the neighboring town of Rye, NH , where most of my beach sessions take place. Our first stop was Pirates Cove , located next to Wallis Sands.
This spot offered incredible views and a relaxed atmosphere that was perfect for capturing those special moments. Parking: Rye residents need a parking permit for many locations, while street parking is available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Next, we made our way to Rye Harbor State Park, just down the road.
