Our ability to take care of ourselves and our household starts to diminish as we grow old. Places like nursing homes have been created specifically for these types of situations; however, most seniors would prefer to remain at home even when they struggle just to get by. We offer a wide variety of home care services depending on the needs of our clients. These include anything from light housekeeping, medication management and preparing meals to shopping for groceries and providing transportation.
Seniors are often unwilling to let others do all their daily chores for them, which is certainly understandable.
Foregoing physical activity entirely is very unhealthy so whenever possible we encourage elders to continue participating in housekeeping activities they feel comfortable with in order to stay in shape.
Senior companion care services can take care of many domestic tasks like cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and doing laundry. This can be done either at home or at a specialized facility depending on client preference. Comfort Keepers can also provide assistance with preparing meals and shopping for the necessary groceries.
Many people are picky when it comes to food so we always make sure to consult with our clients in order to only prepare meals that they will enjoy. Similarly, we only purchase groceries that are specified by your loved ones at their chosen stores. In addition, we are also happy to perform other errands like picking up prescriptions or packages at the post office. Seniors can choose to join us while we run these errands and give any further instructions along the way.
