You can no longer register a civil partnership in Ireland. Civil partnerships registered abroad after 16 May are not recognised as civil partnerships in Ireland. If your spouse or civil partner needs a visa, they must apply for a Join Family Member D visa online. If they do not need a visa, they can travel to Ireland without a visa or preclearance.
